I like the warm browns you have. I might do cafe au lait or coffee. If you want to shake it up, go with a lighter forest green.

You are already inviting the outdoors in through your choice of wood tone (natural) , plants, and your big window with unobstructed view of nature. I feel like a light green would be perfect and feel very relaxed and restrained.

I'd go with a muted denim blue quilt. The room already has plenty of warm brown from Urbane Bronze, the headboard and wood furniture, so taupe may make everything blend together. Denim blue would still feel calm, but it would give the gray carpet and dark wall a little separation. Keep the sheets cream or white, then add one rust or cognac throw at the foot of the bed. Since you want a solid quilt, use the texture of the stitching for interest rather than adding more patterns.

There's a lot of light whiteish and none the same. I would go with anything but a version of white.

Going to go out on a limb here and say red. I do like the neutrals you have in your color scheme but the room just seems to be begging for a pop of color.

The white quilt is only temporary. Agree, will not be choosing white for a new one.

I am almost finished redoing the master bedroom, but it hasn’t really come together as the bedding is yet to come…it’s such a key factor. Consider the overall feel you are aiming for/how to achieve. I’m getting an earthy, MCM/contemporary feel.

All the pillows will be a pain, but hope the color combo helps, as well as a lamp style.

Hang art over the bed and use those colors for inspiration. Take the rug into consideration, so your floor, bedding, art run up in context.

What is your budget for bedding? I've seen some beautiful bedding on West Elm recently but it's a bit pricey.

Sorry, I’m not much help re color, that’s personal, but just chiming in to say I’ve had great experience with RH bedding. Yes, it’s pricey, but they usually have some on sale for about 50% off, think some are on sale now. We buy the quilts or coverlets.

I’d actually go with the muted sage green rather than another cream or taupe layer. You already have plenty of soft neutrals with the Shoji White walls, cream bedding, light carpet and lighter furniture, so a sage quilt would add some depth without fighting the Urbane Bronze accent wall.

Then I’d keep the pillows and throw mostly cream/taupe, maybe repeating just a little of the sage. That way the room still feels calm and cohesive rather than overly colorful.

I have two quilts from Garnet Hill (one lightweight, one heavier) and they’ve lasted a looong time. Good bedding may look expensive but it’s usually because of higher quality materials, it washes better and looks better overall.

I agree with RedRyder. I have Garnet Hill flannel sheet sets for winter and they are my favorite sheets. I have a blanket from there too. All wash well.

When I saw OP's photo, I thought of green bedding to kind of color wash the room in greens (on my laptop the carpet, chair and accent wall are variations on olive toned greens). Looks like a calming space!

I’d actually consider a duvet insert with interchangeable covers rather than committing to one quilt color. A quality down duvet gives you a great quality foundation, and then you can change the cover seasonally or whenever you want a different look. Cream or taupe could be beautiful here, but you could easily switch to sage, denim blue, or something warmer later without replacing the duvet itself. I run a bedding store called Luxury Sleep Shop, and that flexibility is something people really appreciate. It lets you change the personality of the bedroom without having to buy a completely new piece of bedding every time you get tired of the color.
