You want your garage door section of your house to blend in and the porch area to stand out. Paint your garage door something that closely matches your brick color and the do an accent color in the same color family on the shutters and then a pop of color on your front door. Your front door and porch should be the focal point of your curb appeal.

i would repaint everything that is not brick a gray…this architect does not list the paint color used, but I would guess BM Wickham Gray HC-170. It is a go to gray when matching with soft reds.

I like the SW Umber on the garage door, and then do the cement foundation in the same color. Use bright colors for your shutters and the entry door.

The light blue that it is now, is the best color. Leave it like it is. If you add big white pots with plants next to the garage door and next to the front door and make sure that there is light above the porch, it will emphasise the necessary female touch. Good luck. Karin (from The Netherlands)

I would look at the mortar color for the garage door and the color of the darkest bricks for the trimwork.

I could also imagine a light sage green or a pale smoky bluish gray.

I think using a color that matches the brick as closely as possible is the way to go, because more important than the garage door is the entrance to the house. I would change to a brighter color shutters perhaps a BM Dorset Gold or a Chestertown Buff for the shutters and front door.
