    Wall color please....
What are the names of the colors on the wall. Looking for a nice blue color and i love this one
  • 12 years ago
They never have wall color's available. It's such a shame. This one would be perfect in our rebuild.
They sometimes do have the wall colors. Unfortunately, whomever did this one is not willing to share info. However, if you have a color printer and can print the photo, you can take it to your paint store and they should be able to match it! Good luck!!

    Try Benjamin Moore Alaskan Husky

    Wall color please!!! the name.

Do not take a printed photo into colour match. Every printer prints differently. Only ever use a colour as a starting point even if you know exactly what that colour is. What looks awesome in this room may look horrible in yours. Get samples and try a few, that way you will get the colour THAT IS RIGHT FOR YOU. This is a gorgeous room! Love everything about it.

My local paint store can match anything. OBVIOUSLY, you would want to make sure that what you bring to them is what you want.
Of course a good paint store can match anything. My main point was that anytime you see a colour you love use that as a starting point since there are so many variables that affect how colour is perceived. Too many people take a colour straight out of the magazine and use it as is and it may not be the best choice. And what is OBVIOUS to you may not be to others.

Thank you delormedesignsblogspot. Your advice is spot on. I also think the large molding and white trimmed windows against this particular blue helps the color pop and be exactly what the designer was looking for. I love the way they brought the outside colors in.
    Beautiful and peaceful room

    THANK YOU!!!!! Perfect color.
Thank You I will have to go a start my project now!!!!

i bought a sample of this color and it is not blue....it is in the green family. there is no way the color on the walls in this picture is sea salt from SW considering the comforter is blue
  • 12 years ago
I think images online can vary greatly with what you see on your own walls. Idk, I asked the designer specifically and emailed the exact photo, that's what she said it was.
I bet it's Seattle Grey.... My dad painted his house in Westhampton NY that color
  • 12 years ago
Please tell us the wall color.
I purchased the Sherwin Williams sea salt and it looks just like this color. I don't think the designer would lie to me. It's a blue hue with grey tones. It looks so good on the walls. I love it. I even bought a sample of Seattle grey and it is definitely not that. We went with Sea salt and the bedroom looks amazing. I'm sticking by what the designer said, SW sea salt.
The color is Bunny Gray from Benjamin Moore
  • 12 years ago
Whatever the colour the designer says that it is quite frankly is irrelevant! Yes, use it as a starting point and find the colour that works in YOUR space with YOUR lighting and furnishings. Yes Sea Salt tends to be a grayed down greeney blue, just because a pic online shows a room to have a much bluer tone DOES NOT REFLECT WHAT IT ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE IN REAL LIFE. These pics should only be used as inspiration. Use what looks great in YOUR space not what something is in someone else's. The perfect colour in "Bob's" room won't neccessarily look great in yours. Just because you love a colour does not mean it will look good in your space. The designer stated via a resonder that it is Sea Salt by Sherwin Williams. Take it at face value people and move on!

    WOW....take it down a notch

I would like to know the wall colour like many others but so far I haven't seen the answer. It is a beautiful color.
I wrote, probably 3 times now, that I emailed the designer. She said Sea Salt by Sherwin Williams. I even showed her this exact photo. I shared this on the comments. I bought the paint, the painter used it in our bedroom. It looks stunning. Definitely a blue color leaning on a greyish tint. If no one believes me, email the designer yourself. I don't understand why there is such a debate about all this?
I don't know what the problem is, either. Thank you for emailing the designer... it IS Sea Salt, which looks different, depending the the light in the room.!!!!
I have Sherwin Williams Sea Salt in my kitchen. Depending on the light it goes from gray/blue to slightly gray/green. Gorgeous color in any space!

Can you tell me the height of the window seat and the window above it?

it all depends on the direction of the sun and amount of natural light.
I used Sherwin Williams Sea Salt in my kitchen depending on the time of day it changed from gray to blue to green. It's a beautiful color but definitely changes with light.

The designer confirmed several times down below that it is Sherwin Williams' Sea Salt.

No doubt it's sea salt. I have it in my bedroom and I love it!

I also used Sherwin Williams Sea Salt in 2 different rooms. It appears green in one room and light blue/aqua in another room due to the differences in light.

    Beautiful!

reading these comments is quite entertaining. I have had several conversations on Houzz that turned out this way. it's a shame that people have to be jerks. it takes away from the craft! this room and *Sea Salt* paint color is beautiful.
