Is a tub Necessary in the Master Bathroom?

I have a 60 x 36 space for a shower only or a tub/shower combo. I'm selling this house within the next year so I want to appeal to buyers. There is a hall bath with a deep soaking tub but will this suffice? Would I be shooting myself in the foot by not installing a tub in the master as well? Or would the big shower appeal to buyers?

    I'm also renovating for resale, but have a small bathroom with a shower in my master with no tub. I have a hall bath recently upgraded with all the bells and whistles. I'm hoping that that bath will compensate for the lack of a tub in the master bathroom.
