What Color should the Garage and poles be? Help!

I need to decide what the exterior color of the garage and the poles in front of the upstairs and downstairs doors (door to be changed to one with glass). I think I'm leaning towards a darker shade of gray/color of the stucco for the garage but I'm not sure if that will work and if so what color do I paint/stain the poles. Thanks so much!

You have a beautiful home. There is a lot going on with the architectural features. My first thought would be to go with a deeper gray.
A Black door with black accents on other parts of the home would create a more formal appearance.
A deep burgundy would also be an option.
What are your thoughts? What are your favorite colors?

I think your garage door should match your front door. I know, more money, but since the garage door is up front, I think you should treat it as grand as the front door. I would paint the poles white like the trim.

The door is going to be changed to one with more glass...to let in more light. Margo the house you posted is lovely. I think my house comes off a little more taupe/grey in person. I love the dark grey of your house.

Lovely home! I'd go with your idea of same or two shades darker gray for your garage and white for your uprights.
