Is it proper etiquette to thank people?

I posted a discussion and got some great responses, some which I replied to and thanked the senders. Then I got some new ones. Is it proper form to say one thank you to everyone? I hate to add another email that just says thanks. Or is it just left open for others to respond. Do people typically post how they implemented the suggestions?

Hi Lynn! You could always click the "Thank" button next to each person's comment! It's sort of a way to say thank you, without actually saying it. :)

I've posted comments but have noticed that the "like" button is not at the end. Is there a way to control how you post comments?

Your own comments do not have the like option. However, comments from any other user, you will have the option to like it.

I don't see a "thank" button next to posts. ??

Also... I've received welcomed emails from Houzz telling me I've been "thanked" for my advice but when I go to the Design Issue, I don't see anything.

Is there a way that people express their gratitude using Houzz as a go-between?

@makennac: The "thank you" button appears on posts you create. Once you receive an email you have been thanked, you can see the "thank you" by scrolling back down to your comment.
