My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

How well does the mechanical life hold up over time?

I like the idea of leaving the mixer on the lift. Is it sturdy enough to work properly over many years? How long have they been available, and how reliable are they?

    Hi Susan, This lift is designed specifically with the heavy standing mixer in mind. This one's been active for 5 years, and we've had others installed up to 7 years ago with no complaints.

    We have one that's been in our kitchen for more than 20-30 years and it's very sturdy! This being said, if storage is at a premium in one's kitchen this takes up half the cabinet space. Also consider if the baker will be in a traffic patterns or where island stools are adjacent.
