Some more information might help. Are the windows going to stay white? What color are the shutters? Is the front door wood? Can you provide a close up picture of the front door?

Black would be safe, but a little depressing. Yellow/Orange might be crazy and fun.

What a beautiful home you have built! The different textures on the front elevation are so interesting. The execution of the siding, shingles, and stone was perfectly done, great job! I definitely would stain the front door on a home of this size. Stained wood front doors or even stained paneled wood garage doors have always been placed on executive and estate properties, and this home certainly fits that category. It conveys a message of understated elegance, and looks more expensive to the viewer. The best to you in your new home!!

It is hard to tell from this picture but the trim is not white it is a beige color. The shutters are black. The house faces west the front if the house gets great afternoon light. There is still more trim work that is going to be done to the front porch but the builder is pushing us to select a door color. All of the houses in the neighborhood are built out of natural materials and are very boring beige, stone or stucco. The siding/shake is made if wood. The front door is also made of wood.

I agree with keeping the door a lighter wood. You need the wood door to balance out the the natural stone on the other side of your home. You might want to paint your downspouts the same color as your siding. Nice looking home. Congratulations!

I think staining it a dark brown would look really nice!
