    I live in a house with this kind of a ceiling and when I installed a new roof, I had the roofer use 3 inches of foam insulation under the rubber roofing. It cut our heating costs by almost 60%.

    Decorating a house that is in the 1960's style; well most of it, not all. Love your sofa. Where did you purchase it? Our enclosed Sunroom is similar but decided to keep the ceiling Wood. THe bar area is nice too.

    love the neat and organized style.It is a good idea to put a floor lamp near the sofa and a picture light for the painting.

    Great look. What finish is the white ceiling? Satin? gloss? What do you recommend? We have a low, mid century ranch and want to paint the wood stained ceilings white.
