How would one go about laying the brick in that assorted pattern?

    they come in 1 ft by 1 ft mesh backed pieces. easy to do but you need a good tile cutter.

    That stone comes on mosaic sheets.

    To follow-up, it is easy to use - BUT make sure you use a chalk line to keep your tiles level & straight!

    Additional info on Norstone - it is not mesh backed but still installs like tile. It is heavy, and must be mounted on cement backerboard, not sheetrock.

    This is NOT on a mesh! It is a stack stone! Lowes sells this product. Very easy to install. Start from the bottom they are heavy. This picture is showing quarts stone.

    Love the look of the stacked stone but how hard is it to keep clean, dust free?
