Love the herringbone! Does the floor pitch make install difficult?

We are replacing our shower floor and I'm considering a herringbone Travertine that is on sheets that don't have spacing between the tiles. Will that make it impossible to install on a pitched floor? Is herringbone harder to install on a pitched floor or is it only a matter of the spacing of the tiles? I haven't seen many shower floors with this pattern.

My very skilled tile guy installed this floor. He did say that, yes, this would have been impossible if the stone had not been on mesh.
This carrera stone pattern is a little out of the ordinary but you should be able to find it thru a reputable stone and tile supplier.
