Need help with bedding

What color bedding goes with this bedroom? I bought this white duvet cover with simple lines to keep the focus on the rug. Not sure if its too white??? Would like to use yellow as an accent color in the rest of the bedroom. Lamp colors? Art work? Would love some suggestions from fellow houzzers. Thanks!

I feel the toss pillow is more of your personality - so let it shine. Try tucking the edges of the duvet inside of the side rails and foot board to give it a neater modern edge. Buy two large shams in a yellow/grey co ordinating fabric (not matching). Add lamps that are at least 26 inches high but preferably 30 inches with large drum shades - these can be oversized with chrome accents

Agree with Above. The duvet is fine - a perfect backdrop to anything you want to add in the way of color and style. Here is a photo showing a tucked in view of a similar set:

Gray paisley shams would show off the rug and tie all together

Do I see or int on pillows? Never bring duvet up and over pillows, fold back. Use white sheets. And pillow cases. In high thread count like over 600. They are like silk.

Add white panels in a woven fabric to ends of windows. On black rod. To the floor.

Ordered these lamps for above night stands. They are 24" tall. I was having a hard time finding modern lamps with yellow base and 30" height. Do these work or are they too small? Waiting for shipment to arrive so I can get a better idea. Don't like curvy belly lamps, hubby likes clean straight lines

Will end up higher than headboard, so will be fine. Color pop looks great.

Across from the bed, I have this dresser & mirror. I was thinking of putting art work or a round sunburst mirror (recommended by travisinteriors) above the bed. Confused, like both options

I think your bedding is too white. Add a folded comforter to the foot of the bed.

First things first, I would like to see lamps on your bedside tables, which are rectangular, and the base of the lamp. relate to the handles on the drawers.

I like iamjudy's ideas for a more sophisticated look, especially for a master bedroom. The question is whether there is too much $$ already invested in what's in the room already. I bought a white comforter for my bed before really having a complete design. I am sorry I did that but don't want to buy another one. So, I am going to look for a colored throw (I am in Florida and feel that another comforter is too much). I got black and silver lamps for master but went for purple lamps for guest bedroom. I actually like this lamp. May I ask where I can purchase and the cost?

Put art over bed if mirror over dresser. I like it.

Either lamp would work. A gray fur throw, is easy to remove if to heavy. But the fur puts some texture on bed. I like your bedding. It fits the room. Just add more pillows and will be fine.
