I finally found the image I was looking for. The reason I may seem a bit picky about the look of the chandelier is because it's intended to solve a lighting problem in my own home. My living room is severely under-lit (especially in winter) and has been since I moved here roughly 15 years ago. ;p Below is a picture of the sconces I'm trying to suitably match, hence the image in my post above. So far the Cromwell chandelier (which seems to be available only in the uk) is the closest I've found.

The hanging pole can be changed into chains.

Thank you; I didn't know about replacing the poles for chains, a chain of the right weight would be much more fitting for my setting. Even more interesting, I stumbled across this beauty while paging through your idea books:

If I can't find the right medieval chandelier I'm thinking this pendant hung high would be stunning!
