You can add green product tags to the photos that you have uploaded. To add a product tag of an existing Houzz product, click on the photo that you would like to tag on the product that you would like to tag.

A dialog box will pop up (see attached image) By clicking on the product tag button, you can search the Houzz product library for the product that you are looking for. Otherwise, you can upload the product or click the Image note button to write a brief description of the product or provide a link to where the product can be purchased.

You can publicly tag any image that you have uploaded to Houzz. Image notes that you add to other photos on Houzz will be automatically be private.

Professionals are encouraged to tag the photos of the spaces that they upload with appropriate product tags. For your own products, be sure to upload photos of spaces including your products, then you can apply the appropriate product tags as well. Hope that helps!

So I see the same retailers over and over again. Is their an ad program available or do you only tag retail onlinfirms?

HI Khrome, You do see many of the same companies represented again and again because they have put their products on Houzz and made them available to tag. If you have products, you can also upload them and they will be available for tagging on your own photos or for other people to use on theirs. Hope that helps!

So how do you upload a product that isn't already in the Houzz library? For example there are several items from Target.com that I will use in a project and I'd like to be able to tag those items in my photos.

I am in need of help adding the Green Product Tags to the Greenfield Cabinetry images I've been uploading. I tried clicking on the photos and it just took me deeper into the proejct. I've not been able to post any Product Tags yet. Any thoughts, direction?

I'm having trouble tagging as well.

I am also having trouble tagging. I open a picture that has been uploaded, and click on it, but no dialog popup box appears. I enables popups for this site with no luck. There is also a tag icon available, but it is grayed out and does not work. Please help.

That's my issue as well. The tag shows but cannot be selected.

hi, I am having the same issues, the tag shows on the screen, but can not be selected.

Been having the same problem: clicking on my photos only moved me to the next photo, can't tag anymore. Maybe I never could from that direction.

I have found I can tag by going to myHouzz, in edit mode and selecting a project or all photos. Once there, in the very bottom right corner of the white bottom border on any photo is a small ">>".

Clicking that opens a different photo display window obviously designed for the tagging process.

How can we request the houzz team to tag our furniture on other users images, is this possible?

Here are my take aways:

First, you can only tag photos that you have uploaded (Houzz editors can also tag photos).

Second, I've found that you can't tag photos with a Category of Products, you can only tag those with a Category of Spaces.

Third, you can add image tags to photos with Products that can be found on Houzz. They don't have to be uploaded in Houzz Marketplace, they just have to be uploaded as photos with a Category of Product.

I don't have the tag feature...at all! Do I have to unlock it somewhere?

In order to get the tag available, the image has to be uploaded as a "Space" type.

Thanks for the help! Oddly enough the problem was that I was trying to tag while using internet explorer. Once I used google chrome the "add tag" button popped right up!

Is a professional account required in order to tag a photo? For example: I uploaded this photo but can not tag it. It is my powder room and I know the names and sources of the products since I choose them. I'd rather tag than answer questions.
