Hey pal, is that in your yard? Gorgeous!

Morning ladies..........fall is here..........along with the wet weather and dropping temps. I hate winters here. More wet and cold than anything else.

    Beautiful picture Michele.

Not doing anything today...........besides waiting on Doctors and puttering about the house.

Did that PITA ortho finally get back to you? Criminal to keep you waiting :(
Such a cloudy sky today, if it was colder it would look like a snowfall waiting to happen, glad that's not the case.
I'm going to read a Harry Hooley book I've been saving. Secret vice, Norwegian crime genre. :)
Harry Hole, pronounced the way I spelled above :)

No, handy, I wanted to use a shot from here, but it's so cloudy it's sucking all the colors out of things. It's a drab world out there right now, if it clears up later I'll get out there and get some good images. Morning to you!! :)

Just one beautiful snowfall, on a weekend, that disappears by the next day :)
That's the way to enjoy winter if you're not skiing.
    Morning Angela :)

    Good morning, ladies and STK!

Morning kimdee, did you get the ear worm out of your head? :)
haha! luckily for me I've never actually heard the song to get it stuck in my head. I will avoid it!

You should avoid it, it's actually kind of good, but it's tooooooo catchy. Also would probably ly be great grave music. They could play it over and over and people would just jump up and down with their hand in the air all night long :)

They're comedians, I wonder if they ever thought they'd be well known for a joke song?
    Who are they Michele
They're brothers from Norway, comedy group, they thought they'd make this sort of parody, but it's gone viral, they've been all over American morning and late night tv. They're called Ylvis, the song is "the fox", look for it on you tube, if you dare o have it stuck in your head later on. It's a bit clingy in the brain, lol :)

both. but it's for dyers, weavers, etc. too.
That's very cool, do you do any of those things too? Big spinning wheel in your house?
nope. i'm not even knitting right now. I have too much pain in my arms. doesn't stop me from posting though :)
Oh mousy, that stinks. Arthritis? Or too much gardening? :)
right now it's a combo platter :) I have fibromyalgia and inflamed joints, muscle issues whoopdeedoo in my Subaru :) my arms have tendonitis...it's just too much fun!!!

Here's the throw that I knit to go with the mouse I showed you. I was just piecing it together on the table, so the border wasn't around it and the strips were only pinned.

What a stew of problems, are you on meds or roughing it out, which is noble but stinks? Is it from repetitive motion or just what you've been dealt?
are you kidding? that's really nice!!!! I hope you have pics of the finished product??
I am not noble any more. Couldn't function without meds at this point. It's what I was dealt, I guess. Lucky me!! but, I have to remember that I am doing well compared to many others and I work out a lot to make sure I have range of motion, etc.
I don't blame you, being noble is great for a little while, but chronic pain is a complete sucker of quality of life. If you can alleviate it enough to get by and function, then that's the way to go. What the heck is the point of suffering?
I will take a picture of the finished product. It was a Christmas present for my daughter along with the lavender stuffed mouse a few years ago. I got tired of knitting after a while. But I did make a lot of really nice scarves, bags, large floor pillow covers and a 16x24 pillow cover for my bed at beach house. I used the same kind of yarn for that one, as I did for the throw and the mouse. Lions brand homespun. But it's in a variegated blue/aqua/gray/ivory. :)
