Hi everyone,

I am looking to install new kitchen cabinets and appliances in my condo, and I am running into a design dilemma. Current floors in the entire condo (including the kitchen) are dark brown which I absolutely love. I am struggling with a color scheme for the cabinets and countertop. I would like to go for a modern/contemporary look, with slab doors. As I am on a tight budget having done considerable remodeling in the last few months, I am considering Ikea kitchens, specifically the Sofielund line. It looks quite modern and interesting on its own, however I am not sure if it clashes with the floors. Attached are the pictures of the floor as well as a sample door that I have. Will a different color of toe kick bring it all together, or perhaps different color base cabinets and Sofielund on the walls? If you have any other suggestions on colors, I would appreciate the photos! Perhaps the only color that I would like to avoid is white, didn't see quality white cabinets in the price range that I am in.
