stain color for wood floor

I really like the wood color below or darker. I have read a lot of bad things about dark wood floors and maintenance. Do you think I will have problems with dust and it looking unattractive if I can't keep up with maintenance every day. If so what color would you choose?

I think you'll be fine with something similar to your photo. That's not really all that dark. I do have a friend that recently had her floors stained to an espresso shade, and while beautiful, they show EVERYTHING.

I have espresso colored hard wood floors also, and I don't think they show as much as our maple floors do.

Main issue with really dark floors is scratching from dog toenails and high heels

Dust shows on a really dark floor but the color you are looking at will be just fine
