The three most visible plants in this image all require shade. The groundcover is Dwarf mondo grass (Ophiopogon japonicus 'Nana'), the variegated plants in containers are Triostar stromanthe (Stromanthe sanguinea ‘Triostar’) and the long leaved clumping plant in the lower left corner is Palm grass (Molineria capitulata formerly known as Curculigo capitulata). There is another plant Setaria palmifolia also known as Palm grass that looks very similar but it is VERY vigorous and should be avoided unless contained.
