My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    Hi, I see you are really good about answering questions on Houzz - thank you for that. I'm planning a remodel and would love to incorporate some beams like in this photo. Sadly I have low ceilings 7'5" would this be oppressive in my small space if I used a low profile for the beam? We will end up with an open plan that is longer and narrow focusing on our view out back. I thought the beams would work width wise to make it look less narrow??
