Question about the ceiling trim...?

Surfed into your website then followed to Houzz. Absolutely love your work ! I am getting ready to redo all the trim in our house. In this particular room is that MDF on the ceiling with molding capping it ? Or just applied molding on the ceiling ? Thanks again ! Joe
