A basic Acer Blood Good or Ben Otake

It's a "Bloodgood," beautiful and beautifully behaved. Golden in Autumn. Foliage holds red colour until late Summer. Branches are self-cleaning of dead leaves in Winter.

With great trepidation, we transplanted our specimen. It went through that hideous winter on Long Island. And, remarkably, emerged unscathed. Beautiful, but pricey, plant.
