I like this entry, see link below. Wood floors, a wood stair railing similar to yours (keep your newel posts wood don't paint white). Paint all trim & lower wainscoting, doors & dado white (eggshell sheen) and the upper walls very light gray-off-white (flat). I think the gray will compliment the yellow adjoining room. The room in tis picture does not have a dado nor wainscoting, so I think your entry will be that much more beautiful. I do not see a place for furniture in the room, but a dark wood console table might be nice if you have room. I don't see a ceiling light in your photo, so send more photos or choose a wrought iron ceiling light that pleases you and is in keeping with the style of your home, the wrought iron will echo the door locks and handle.
This might be cute for the little bathroom, medium gray on bottom (eggshell) and the light gray (use eggshell not flat for bathroom) on top with white eggshell trim for dado and baseboard.
