I would do a teal comforter with the giraffe accents since your walls are beige.

Found more items to add to room. A bedside lamp, rug, and shadow picture to go above bed. What do you think?

The dark art piece I think is too heavy with your other art. Have you decided on the bedding yet? What type of flooring will the area rug be covering? I like the rug tho. :)

@Darzy I have carpet on the floor. No I haven't decided on the comforter. Any suggestion?

I like groveraxle's 2nd suggestion of the slate/soft blue silky looking bedding. I was wondering about the color of your floor/carpet because if the carpet is dark the dark rug would not be the best selection. Also, one purchase will help determine the other. Sooo, if you love the area rug, a softer/lighter color for the bedding I think would look best.

It would be helpful to see the actual room.

Here are some suggestions to keep with the colors of the painting. However, you don't have to do that,,I assume you bought the painting because you liked it. It doesn't have to have matching colors in the room.

I found a comforter set to go with my art. Thanks for all the suggestions. I will upload a pic of the room when it comes in about 2 weeks. Oh, I didn't order the fish pillow.

where did you get the artwork LOVE IT!

@JS I got the artwork from http://www.kirklands.com at a steal. Reg price $459 and I got it for $68.

Here is the comforter and drapes I purchased to go with the canvas artwork. I am going to put artwork above the headboard. But, what do you think about the short curtain rods with the drapes framing the bed?

The art and bedding looks great! I don't like the short rods though, they should be a little wider than the windows even if your panels are stationary

Now that Houzz is cracking down on copyright, dont forget to name all downloads.

chook, this is the second comment you've made about pics and legality. What are you talking about?

Pick up,the silver tones in your art piece in your drapes and put drapery panels behind the bed too. Like this:

Yep you need curtains at both ends of the windows because your bed is slightly wider than the pace it sits in, the curtains behind above are great! Where is the giraffe accents pillow? That was fun and lightened it up a bit!
