Our wood finisher won't get near bamboo refinishing. It's just too finicky. It does't take stain the way wood does because of it's grain structure (it's basically a dense grass). On a renovation job this past spring, we ended up replacing half of a bedroom floor due to sun fading. Luckily we found the same product from the same dealer. Consider replacing it, it's most likely cheaper.
