This corner housed earthquake bins and all sorts of other stuff. Not a pretty sight coming into the house from the garage.
With three doors on such a small entry, plus the mess there was just too much going on. One door, on the right, was removed and traffic flow was rearranged, since this area was busy enough, containing a stairway, access to laundry on the right and in-law suite, to the left, besides the garage access.
Calm, bright and welcoming now.
