Hi I also had the same question with a brick home. Take a look at my discussion from July. Lots of great suggestions.

I would paint it black. Black would contrast nicely with the red brick and the white trim.

Here is a radical idea, paint the door red.

I assume you either don't have a Homeowner's Association or have checked with them about any door color restrictions?

I like black too for your door.

I think one of the popular light-turquoise colors would be very striking here without being overmuch.

Wow! That black sure pops! There are 2 other unit owners that did theirs in black as well and it looks great!

We do have a Homeowners Association but we are freehold association not condo corp (the only common elements we have are roofs and parking), so we have no restrictions on color or landscaping.
