Sooo, I'm renovating an office space I recently purchased in a high rise-downtown Honolulu (office will be used to work with special needs children). What I thought was "modern" building, was actually false fronted about 20-30 years ago. The demo revealed all sorts of stuff, and it turns out that we have 620 sq. feet of the bones of an old 1930's beer factory. The ceiling is cement, but reveals all grain from the wood used to set the cement ceiling from back then. Originally was going to paint it white, but not sure if there's a better way out there. I love the "look of wood planks", but the ceiling also has mold, some weird red spray paint in areas, and a yellowish stain (from who knows what). Any suggestions??
