The shelving in this picture was removed and replaced by steel overhead storage racks. This picture was taken as a "before" shot prior to the start of our work. I would not recommend installing shelving from the ceiling as seen in this particular picture. The steel racks that we installed have 2 lag bolts installed on each of the four support arms that extend from the ceiling to the platform. These lag bolt must be put into wood ceiling joist. Any other material will not support the weight of the platform. Thank you for your inquiry
