I think it looks good! It's hard trying to pick a floor color to go with everything else. Is it a vinyl? We just had Mannington Adura put in our dining room a few weeks ago. I'm impressed with how nice it looks and feels and so far it's been easy to clean. I don't know if it's the same as the Alure you mentioned though.

Kittt29 - thanks for the reply! My mistake it is Mannington ADURA... Allure was another product I was looking at. Your pics look great - thanks for posting. I know you haven't had long, but an issues with scratches at all? Did you have it installed?
This would go in our kitchen/dinette, small hall and half bath, front foyer... and we may also do the mudroom in it too.

Oh it is the same kind then! I know, you get overwhelmed when you are looking at so many options. Before we got it I came on here also hoping to get some feedback from someone who had it for awhile but I didn't have any luck.

We did have it installed by a flooring company. We moved into our house in April and the dining room had carpet which we figured would be replaced eventually but it wasn't a priority. However, we adopted a 3rd dog at the end of Aug. and she started having accidents in the dining room. Needless to say, it soaked through and smelled not so good. So we ripped out the carpet and sealed the floor with Kilz but we let the professionals install it.

I was very worried about how it would look and hold up. We don't use our dining room often but we do walk through it a lot and the dogs run through there when they are playing. So far there have been no issues with scratches from the dogs and we were told it shouldn't scratch. Moving the furniture back in there after it was done one end of the dining room table hit the floor pretty hard and there was no mark or anything. So far I've just swept it, I haven't had to clean it besides to sweep up the dog fur!

I did look at your previous post and I do like the 2nd to the last one you posted. The one under your original post and pics, npbut I think that's the one you felt was a little too rustic. Do you know which style that was? I think it's a nice contrast with your trim and other colors and isn't too close. It looks similar to ours. I also wasn't sure at first because it's so different from our hardwoods in the foyer/kitchen/halls. The flooring lady told us to not try to match the other wood or trim because it would never match right and it would just look off. I was also worried because it was a wider plank. But now that it's in I really like it. The guys that installed it were also really impressed. They said they've installed a lot of vinyl wood looking flooring and this was by far the best quality and most realistic looking. They said its thicker then most and they both said they wanted to out it in their house after they saw how it looked installed (and I heard them saying that when I was upstairs and overheard them so I didn't think they were just saying that!).

Is wish we had it longer so I could give you more of an idea on how it holds up, but as of right now I'm completely happy with it! Sorry to ramble on lol let me know if you have any other questions though!

Adura is in the "Luxury Vinyl Plank" category. I am waiting for Houzz to add it as an option for search. It is one of the fastest growing flooring options in the last two years (the tiles as well) Great choice!
