I posted my DR eariler and was against painting now I'm realizing My DR is way too dark. My DR in my other house was this color and had so many compliments. NOT THIS TIME! The color is Pratt and Lambert Warmed Cognac. It's more of a brown tone than what you are seeing in these pictures. Maybe the difference was having waynes coating in the other house and helped it not appear so dark. Now that we are in the house the paint must go but the furniture and rug has to stay.
The white matt pic is not suppose to be there. I was seeing if a lighter pic would help. Also, the blue candles were for play only. I'd like to put my daughters bridal portrait in here if possible. The table is a pub style formal/casual.. Right now I have the extendo in the table. Should I take it out? I love the look of long full silky on a budget drapes (if that's possible). The DR is on the right as you enter the front door so it definitely needs some HOUZZ help. I'm open to any suggestions, advice and comments to help turn this dining room around!
