I can see your dilemma. I think you have too many styles going on and do not know which direction to go. To confuse you even more, I do like lots of your choices and items you have. Except for the white Ikea desk. I like the white, but the desk in nature is too plain in style for your room, it will just look as though you were trying to save money.
Which piece do you like the most? Or what in your picture do you think depicts you the best...in a fire, what would you take?
With Ikea it will be hard to match the calibre of your dresser.is there a chance you could put the dresser in a closet?
If you keep the dresser out, I would go with a chunkier and more modern desk from Ikea, like the lack or expedit series. They now come in gloss as well. That would go with the Malm or the other bed. You can mix styles, but then the colours should compliment a little.

If you do the white Malm bed or the black vintage looking one, you can keep the black desk and the bench and put the dresser in a closet.
If you keep the dresser out, I would go with a modern, linear, chunky desk and perhaps with a dark blue or black upholstered headboard, I think Ikea makes those as well or you score at Homegoods perhaps even with nailhead trim to match your dressers hardware? Just some ideas.

Thanks for the advice! By the way, it's funny you showed me the BESTA desk because I totally want it!! But I decided in the end that it's just too narrow to be used practically :( Some good things to think about.

Also, I would love a tufted headboard, but not sure if I could afford it at the moment!
