I think glass knobs are great, however I like the pewter better. The rubbed oiled finish overpowers the glass.

I usually agree with the happy clam, but in this case I like the bronze better, particularly if that works with your other hardware.

Love the knobs but they don't really feel transitional to me. Could you post other fixtures, finishes or hardware from your project to provide a more comprehensive feel for the style?

I have not started the main floor renovation yet, but committed to oil rubbed bronze fixtures in the basement remodel, which is finished. I'm assuming I should not use something different upstairs.
