There are many manufacturers. Lowe's Home Depot and others carry various lines covering different price points. If you're looking to go custom there are many local companies that do cabinets. Our contractor is using RTA (Ready To Assemble) cabinets for our renovation. The face frames, doors and drawer fronts are solid maple and the boxes are maple veneered plywood. There is no particle board, OSB, etc. in the cabinets. Hinges are high quality and the drawers have the soft close feature. You might give up some custom features with these but since shipping costs are so much less you can get a better cabinet for probably less money.

Thanks. I think we will be going semi-custom, something like Brookhaven or Omega. Does anyone have an opinion on these manufacturers? Or similar ones?

We have used only Wellborn Cabinet for over 15 years and have done thousands of homes in that time. They are 100% made in America and have a line to fit almost any budget. I dont recommend rta cabinets, would you want to store your grandmother's heirloom dishes in a cabinet held together with cam locks and corner braces?
