We have the staples: sofa, chairs and rug, but how do we pull it all together? The room looks and feels a bit cold or staged. We would like to add some softness to make it feel like home.
1) I was thinking of adding a side table in gold, but not sure that will mix with crome banister and silver table between chairs? Can you use different metals?
2) coffee table needs to go, but what should I get to replace it? Round tuftered ottoman? Bench fabric ottoman. What color?
3) help! Completely perplexed by window treatments? Drapes? Blind? And where do they start? Ceiling or below transit?
4) I was thinking a console table with two ottomans on the stair wall?
But what kind of material? Wood is to harsh.
