We have a lighter polished granite countertop and white cabinets. I picked a "arctic white" subway tile with a honed marble accent above the range.
The subway tile comes in matte or shiny. I originally liked the matte since the counter is shiny and the under cabinet lights would reflect off a shiny tile. Thinking matte would be less reflective.
After seeing so many photos in Houzz with shiny, is there a decorator or design rule to this? Does it really matter? Any thoughts out there?
