Have you considered Nature Stone?

The slate looks wonderful in your inspiration pic. I think it looks so wonderful because of the deeper shade on the walls and rich wood planked ceiling. Will you be able to create a similar look in your sunroom or will the walls and ceiling remain white? Beautiful view :)

I had not considered nature stone or terrazzo yet but will take a look!

Amy - I just liked the tile and thought it would look good on our porch. Do you think it's too dark for a porch?

ardynas, I think you could make it work. I would definitely pull the colors from the slate throughout the room with accessories. The taupes, golds and burgundies are all ready represented. A little dark grey will help. At some point, I would also consider painting your ceiling and adding drapes to soften the angels and frame your beautiful view.

That is slate which I also saw in several pictures in your ideabook. Looks like your home is in Florida. I love slate but think travertine would be better in your room. Slate looks perfect in our North Carolina mountain retreat.

Whatever material/style you choose, make sure it is rated for exterior/wet use.
Some material will become dangerously slippery when wet. Good luck!

Thanks Mega - yes, we put non skid tile in our last porch and it was TOO nonskid. Couldn't even mop the tile... lol. This time we will get something with texture but mop-able...
