I'm trying to plan something similar, based on this design, but I need to be realistic about the space we have available and the fit of the chairs. At a glance, I was guessing that the short side is 48" in order to be able to fit the 2 chairs side by side between the support posts. I'd only need to fit 2 additional chairs along the side.
