I love Hubbardton Forge made in USA in Vermont. They have looks you might like if the posted fixture is your taste. If too, pricey then just look at mass manufactures like Hinkley's Lighting and Kitchler Lighting. There is bound to be something you like from those sources.

We are hanging it in the dining room. The table is 108 inches long and 36 inch wide. We also are looking for two mini pendants that will go over our kitchen island which is open to the dining room.

Here are a few styles which we would suggest; they feature fabric shades and have mini pendants to match for your kitchen island. We would suggest to hang something with a long, linear shape over your dining table since its so long. It would be a good proportion for over the table and spread the light evenly. The shade(s) will be a nice diffuser of the light and not be harsh in your eyes.
