Guest Bathroom Gets Updated

My ugly, cultured marble jetted tub was a monstrosity in the room, taking up one-third of the entire room. I was trying to just find a way to add a shower to the space without having to rip everything out, alas, I had to go the route of a complete remodel. I'm really happy with the way it turned out.

More photos. We decided we wanted an access panel for the tub plumbing, so to cover it up we got a cupboard instead of a built-in.

We saved money by doing the demo ourselves, and the entire room was done for about $3600.

Completely transformed. Great accent tiles and overall design.

That's a great change. Very nice idea for the access panel, too.

I am always amazed at these large soaking tubs that never get used , takes up tons of space, and are totally impractical. So much better to get a tub that can actually be used to bathe a baby or a dog.

We did use the jetted tub, but we just wanted our guests to have the choice of taking a shower.
