What type of concrete is floor made of? Is it special colored concrete or it is regular concrete and been painted on? also what kind of polish is it and how it is applied?

Hello and thanks for the question about the concrete. This cast in place floor is standard concrete. It was then ground and polished to our desired sheen, and then a dye treatment was applied before the floor was sealed. We worked extensively with the polishing company to work through the procedures that rendered the results you see. Thanks for the question.

What sealer was used? How often does it need to be reapplied?

Technically, it is not a sealer. This concrete slab was ground and polished to achieve its shine and durability. It is an intensive process with a 600 lb grinder bespoke for this process. Before polishing, a densifier was added. This is an impregnating formula that chemically bonds to the concrete and fills in any microscopic pores. Nothing has to be reapplied. It is a life long surface.
