The place looks great!

First, we'd suggest tweaking the placement of the rug so the front legs of each sofa sit on the rug. It'll help the area to feel a little more grounded and will place the center of the rug (the solid blocks) in the center of the seating area and centered under the coffee table.

Because of the shape of the seating area, we'd suggest either a large square or circle coffee table. Choosing a large piece will keep it from feeling dwarfed by the large furniture and it will accessible no matter where you're sitting.

How about a natural edge coffee table or a large driftwood one?

Hi Erica, you are almost there with your room!

First, I agree that the front legs of the sofas should sit on the rug, and the centerline of the rug's color block inset should be centered on the couches, in each direction.

The small table shown in your pic feels small compared to the bold graphic print of the rug and the large sofas, so I would recommend a substantial, large, but _simple_ rectangular coffee table- wood or glass.

I like any of these for you! I think going BIG would look great between the sofas. You could either go rectangular or a large square table.

Thanks Darzy. In response to the other post, the rug is a collection of carpet tiles I put together. There r many companies to choose from. I used Flor only Bc I happened to be by their showroom in NYC.

For me it takes a bit to load. But, the company is Benjamin Rugs and Furniture

Much bigger 36-40" square. When using a L shape. Is that a rug over a rug. Or is it colored blocked? Move sofas in so 18" from coffee table. Add tall pots in color, to top, big coffee table books. Stack on one corner. Move end tables next to furn arm not sitting to side. All tables must function.

Z Gallieres sells a glass square table which would work.

Just saw comment from u on carpet tiles. I would not do the squar in middle. Making it hard to place coffee table. Without looking strange. Can you take that out?. It does nothing for the interesting design you have on other part.

Hi Travis Interiors - thanks for the suggestions. Very helpful - esp re tables being function - duh, I should have thought of that! It has been moved. And the table size suggestion is great - I had no idea truthfully. Reworking the rug will be harder but will try.

I am really keen to buy this TV unit for my lounge however I don't want to have glass or glossy finish coffee table, side table and bookcase.
Do you think this TV unit would go well with oak or walnut furniture?!

Glass, then add some plain cushions on the couches so not to distract from the rug. I can see a long clear glass vase in that room with Big leaf greenery as well.

I think a spider table will be great for your livingroom
