It's been snowing for the past 2 days in Western Canada with below freezing temperatures.

Much colder than average here in Portland, OR, with even enough snow to make things pretty (and to make my cat do that "OMG, the world is ending" thing.) Here's the creek behind my house this morning - in 16 years, this is only the 2nd time I remember it freezing.

Wow, very envious (and I'm serious). Faced with a few days of heat here in West Australia and as a winter lover, your piccies are a good tonic.
