Thanks nicolecocoa for that suggestion. I think you are right about the yellow working. Since the Indigo Blue is mucher deeper and more grounded, do you think a more washed out or Mustard Yellowish color works off the Indigo Blue to soften and take the edge off somewhat.

It's really based on your preference. I think the mustard use yellow would look nicer

I think it looks beautiful with gray and other shades of blue .. also looks good with a kiwi kind of green:

Thanks for those choices. I already have a bleached grey stain I'm using on my salvaged barn wood, but the kiwi green is an unexpected choice. I love that green to begin with and I see what you mean. The two pics you've shown me here are really inspiring. You really have a nice eye for color.
