As I browse through the beautiful exterior home design photos on Houzz my ambiguity of the differences between a patio, deck and porch remains unsolved! I tell myself "wrap around porch" but is that different than a patio if it is on the bottom floor of the house? I remind myself a deck is a roofless large wood outside flooring, but what if it extends from the 2nd or 3rd floor of the house? Is it still considered a deck? What do YOU think??
