need help determinig what size media cardenza I will need

I have a 60in tv that I would like to hang on the wall it measures 551/2 wide what size cardenza should I put under it without it looking to small?I can only find 72 in in the furniture stores around my home.I have a large wall and the celings are high to its a two story with a cat walk.Will 72 inch be to small? Thank you
