We are looking to pain or main floor. We originally wanted a gray. But we can't seem to find a color we agree on. I love the Valspar Mark Twain Ombré Gray. The wife finds it too dark. We were going to paint the whole first floor one main color plus a bright white trim. I'm ok with separating room colors. Although the wife thinks it will be harder to agree on multiple colors.

I have attached a few pics to show the dinning room foyer and living room. If love to have a color that pops artwork (we have a ton of art in storage). Also something comforting, classy, that has a rich, deep feel to it. Obviously something that will work with our furniture. We have a lot of antique furniture (with more coming). Also our kitchen cabinets are dark brown....

I was thinking of leaving the hall wall Ombré Gray to bring some depth to the living room.

Any Recommendations as to some colors that will work well in the space?
