My husband just painted our living room stonington gray and it’s absolutely gorgeous. We have a lot of lighting; due to large windows on two walls. Now we want a slightly lighter version of it in our kitchen. Maybe the advice of 50% lighter of stonington gray or gray owl will do the trick. What would the complementary color be? We have a south facing huge window on one side. All appliances are black with stainless steel.

What color did you wind up choosing? Curious because we are looking for a shade or two lighter to compliment stonington but not wickham.
