Another company that has tile like that is Reeso Tile. They make a Saltillo in many shapes and sizes. This particular shape is called "Felipe" in the Reeso Catalog. This company actually dries the tile outside. If you like a truly unique tile, you may get lucky if a kitty walks across it during the drying process, leaving behind a paw print!

All these tiles are so lovely!! I really like them.

Wondering if they have to be constantly sealed?? I would be interested in putting them in my bathroom - are they very pourous?

    Thank you so much,

Sealer keeps the tile cleaner in the case of our porous products. We also produce terra cotta that has a glaze on it that does not require sealer

People all over the world use these tiles in bathrooms on a daily basis. Rustico Tile and Stone offers a nano based sealer, called TerraNano, that's made to withstand the elements and everyday wear and tear. It's made to last a good 10-15 years before you have to reseal the floor and it seals the tile surface and the grout. Since you like the rich red terracotta colors, you can purchase an unsealed Terracotta tile then stain it to that rich red you love. The TerraNano sealer will keep it looking beautiful for the next decade.
