What type of counter chair or stool

Finally moved back into our place and need to get chairs or stools for the island. Thinking chairs may make the area look cluttered yet the stools don't have backs and I have young kids who will be climbing up there. Any ideas suggestions. Ten foot island with curved front

While you have kids that can climb and need to sit there and enjoy breakfast and lunch, I really think you need a back on them and they also need to be ones that can be wiped off. It is a beautiful room and function needs to be a part of it for your family needs right now, too. Actually, I think a back, even a lower one, will work out just fine. Adults appreciate a back on a stool.....I am sitting at the island right now and using a stool/chair with a back on it.

I'd recommend a very clean, modern stool even with a rather traditional kitchen like yours.

We have a similar island and found a chair with low backs at Moe's Home Furnishings in the Seattle area. They have several styles - the one we bought is called Panca. If I could figure out how to attach a photo, would have included it.

Additional info - just googled Panca and they are available through Wayfair, Amazon, etc. We bought the counter height as it fit the space much better than the bar stool height.

Kalispera Paraskevi!! ;) Beautiful kitchen design! I would do simple square stools without a backing with wooden legs that match the island. I would do it in a fabric like these to add more oomf to your design! Fabric is from brentwood. I would order the stools from bermex.

Also, can you tell me what brand your range is? Im looking to buy a 48'' range and I am having a hard time deciding....

Thank you everyone. Joanna the stove is a Blue Star Range. I'm loving it. never had such a large oven before. Have all kinds of things going on at once and still have room to do more.... (We love to eat so we love to cook!)
