I need recommendations for under cabinet lighting in our kitchen. We plan to hardwire, but it does not need to be dimmable (unless I get strong suggestion otherwise). We will have dark (black) cabinets with light granite. Please be specific as to brands or where to shop. Thank you!!

Hi lmnqueen, saw you posted this a while back. Any luck finding good under cabinet lighting for your kitchen?

I've used a brand called Counter Attack but I can't remember the manufacturer. They are an undermount thin fluorescent available in a variety of lengths. I've stayed away from the halogen and Xenon, just too hot for my taste. LED is coming along but I just haven't found anything practical yet and I don't like using the LED rope light under a cabinet.
